Ohh buenos aires zoo is the best ! I've been there with my kids some time ago, we hired a buenos aires travel agency that hooked us up with all the tickets and tours. We really didn't know anything about the city, so we needed someone to tell us what to do. One of those things was the Zoo, is such a great place, i think i took over a hundred of pictures only in the zoo. I think i have never seen my kids with such a big smile for such a long day !
